Community Care Foundation was formed 30 years ago as a trusted advocate for inclusion and for recognising the value of people with disability across the Fraser Coast. It began with local mums and dads coming together with a shared goal; to create better opportunities, services, and a stronger sense of belonging for people living with disability.

 

Many of you know from your own experience, either personally or through someone close to you, that the best outcomes happen when people with lived experience are part of the conversation and decision making.

 

Today, Community Care Foundation is entering a new phase, responding to changes across Government and the NDIS while continuing to grow and strengthen its services.

 

 

We are currently seeking people who are interested in joining our Board of Directors. This is an opportunity to be part of a committed team working to support people of all ages to live the life they choose and experience the best possible quality of life.

 

Our Board is recognised for having a strong representation of people with lived experience, and we are committed to maintaining this as a core strength of our organisation.

 

By joining the Board, you can play a direct role in shaping how the organisation operates and how we support our community. Your lived experience is highly valued and can make a real difference.
